Something Better Coming keeps you on the edge of your seat, fully engaged, even though you might already KNOW the stories behind the story. The illustrations grab your attention and pull you into the scene as if you are there, in the midst of the heartache and the hope for something better coming. When you reach the end, your reaction may be as varied as mine have been after each reading: Amen. Hallelujah! Eager to share with a friend. Tears of quiet amazement at something better coming. Wonder as you watch a dear friend read as captivated as you were the first time you read it. Awe as you go back through and see the amazing details in the story and the illustrations as you look back over them in the same way you might a painting in an art gallery.
I’m thankful Megan spent the time and energy to worship God as she created this book with the unique talents he has given her. I’m thankful for the invitation to look intentionally and intently at the beauty of the gospel.
